Where do we begin to find a job or a museum, art gallery?
I just moved to Washington State, Washington, DC. I live in Puyallup, WA, which is a good 45 minutes away from Seattle. Not because they graduate health My son and I had to put my education on hold. I want to work in the arts, has always been my passion since age 5. I am also a painter, so very interested in any opportunity for the arts. I would prefer a partial position time due to the health of my son, but could change later this year. PLEASE HELP! I'm at a loss to find a place to work and I'd like to meet other artists.
I do not know about the work of gallery, but for the work of the museum, I know they usually have advanced degrees (sorry!). But if I were you I would start volunteering as a guide in a museum, if I had the time. Also, I would like to start by networking with people that are in the artistic community. Good luck! Try to network hard drive, and go and I'm sure you will succeed! If you have the opportunity to return to school that will open many more doors.
