What is the best area of Philadelphia to live?
I currently live in Fairfax, VA (for those who do not know is a suburb 18 miles outside Washington DC which is well developed, with shops, real estate, etc..) I'm looking to move to the Philadelphia region at the end of the year, but not within the city to avoid taxes on wages in the city. I'm looking for a local urban area with a lot of young professionals, it offers many things to do (shops, restaurants.) I do not want to be too far from the airport because I travel for my work. I thought of Conshohocken, West Chester, and areas along the main line (Also KOP). If anyone has insight on these or other areas, I really appreciate it !!!!!
Try Dresher. It is elegant, easy to train to the airport and downtown Philadelphia, next to the turnpike, near department stores in adjacent Willowgrove, and excellent school system.
