Visiting Washington, DC?
Come to Washington next week and is planning to visit the National Mall and Smithsonian, the Library of Congress and the Capitol building. It Circulons with a girl of 9 years. Any suggestions for family fun that is cheap or free, to travel on a budget. We are especially interested in the proceedings of any kind. Thank you!
Washington DC is a good place for a family with a budget (if you are able to find a place to stay and Prices). Most of the parks of the best museums are free, as are national monuments and public. All Smithsonian museums are free, and a year 9, I recommend especially the National Air and Space Museum and the Museum of Natural History. The visit by the FBI is often a multitude of highly successful 9 years old, so children and families with ALL should spend some time at the National Zoo.
