How can I convince my parents who really need the car for college?
So I went to college in a few months, the transition to a new area 15 miles miles away. My parents tell me I have my car, and does not need a new one. They say that the subway system is sufficient. Any ideas on how I can convince them that I need a car? So far, what I thought (Please feel free to extend this) I have virtually no social life without a car. Take the Metro (I sleep in) in a strange city, one of the most dangerous of America (Washington DC), a group of foreigners with less security than places driving. Cheers. Note: I have my car. Where do you come that is 15,000 miles away, cos there are only about 9,000 of Tokyo in PA …… But in all actuality, if moved to Washington DC and from abroad, your vehicle will be many changes to meet U.S. safety standards. Where have you been, it would be a great advantage …. I a very nice Lexus here in Japan that I am bringing with me to my house COS shipping and alterations. You would be wiser to sell your vehicle where and buy a piece of junk when you get here ….
