Think about your last trip. Are the images that really express the views, sounds and the fun you had? Or are you like many of us … These photos are still in a digital camera or stuck on the computer somewhere, so there is nothing to show or the trip.

That will not happen again if you take a sketchbook. Become a creative traveler, not just passive. In this article, I offer three advantages to take a sketchbook on his next trip, art including some "secret" to start drawing what you see, and a short supply list .. retention

1. Using a sketchbook allows sit and concentrate on the charm and detail.

Many times we try to keep pace with a group and find a trip less pleasant, because the pace just does not allow us to experience we would like, and sees nothing seems to make an impression. A sketchbook is a perfect excuse for a coffee, get your team picture and relax. Then, instead of a spot, you can review the details of the magnificent church on the site, as halting and beginning to fill their stadium. You will find the scheme is a hobby that is both relaxing and stimulating.

2. You do not feel like a tourist.

Have you ever felt like the classic tourist who has no real connection the area you're visiting? You are an observer, not a participant. Sketching some of the action. Suddenly they are actively involved in recording the he sees and places and sounds of a new way. It's a little difficult to carry out a sketchbook and drawing since the first, a drawing, but leads to the next and are feel less aware of it and keep getting better. You will find "Plein Air" design attractive and active.

3. A sketchbook can being an album / newspaper that develops during the trip.

It becomes an activity in itself, sort and assemble. Make the day longer of inactivity or poor when the group is stuck in the house. Everyone is bored, but not you. This is an ideal time to perfect their scheme, a touch of color and get these items and parts, they collect on each trip, organized and implemented.

If you have made along crayons, the time now is fantastic for get your sketches and drawings to enhance color. And the ballots to museums and theater – the tail out and put them in your sketchbook. They can be easily removed and repositioned later, but at least made the initial selection and placement in general. Now you do not travel together to put together once you get home, and want to keep all night to refine their sketches and paste it into a trip tschoctschkes.

The "art 3 Secrets"

How can you really start to draw. I Will Always start with a still life model and break the process into the "3 Secrets of Art." For example, taking a pear:

a. Hold the hand and block the entire form. Put on a rack or slightly elongated cross. Is it a basic circle / square? As absolute. Add or subtract Small ways to make it appear that the schema, as a coloring book drawing.

b. The shadow of the form. Find the light / dark colors and pen pressure accordingly.

c. Details on the shape of the shadow. Are there any bruises, marks? Them. Remember that the stem. Now, with crayons.

It is possible that wish to take a drawing class. If time is short, check out a DVD from the library.

Basic Supplies

-any # 2 pencil are very well.

Use your sketchbook to record thoughts, observations, small details that make the other day and write along the lines of your drawing. What was the temperature? What is it? Is there music playing? Cooking something in a place outside? So Much can be written in your sketchbook, which make it unique and personal pleasure.

Finally, do not forget another advantage, people can come to you and only begins speak. Why? Because doing something new and interesting. Of course, you're a tourist!
