Can you recommend a good indoor antenna?

I live about 10 miles from Washington DC and 30 miles from Baltimore. With an analog signal, my Radio Shack amplified antenna ($ 25 for 8 years) can get all the DC stations quite well and some stations in Baltimore weakly. I attached my converter box again and – as expected – Lost Baltimore. I did not expect, however, are difficult to obtain as some places in DC, even turning the mark and the rabbit ears and signal power control. Some stations are getting a bit then crashes because of a low signal, then back, then leave. It's a shame to return to the analog signal yet. Can anyone recommend a good indoor antenna? I do not expect to Baltimore, but I want all CC stations if possible. Thank you. Gilloz – Sawyer capture analog signals in VHF and UHF channels. Perhaps the problem is that television is not near the windows. Digital signals are more sensitive to the walls analog signals?

The first stop should be www.tvfool.com. This sets the direction and "real" frequency DC / Baltimore digital transmitters. The location of television antennas on the inside is badly beaten and lost. Often a window facing the direction of the transmitters is the best, but if a window screen made of metal, could be the worst place. (A metal acts of display, such as a television signal mirror). At present all these large stations in your area that is transmitted in analog UHF channels (14-69). Some change back to VHF-Hi (analog channels 7-13) after 2 / 09, so you want to buy an antenna that supports both. I linked to a website with comments the antenna and two models that seem appropriate for your situation. If you are a do – yourself, tossing a UHF antenna only temporary is not as difficult. Many people have made of hangers, but it is easier to simply use 12-gauge solid copper wire.
