What to bring to the inspection of the vehicle in Washington?
DC.gov suggest you bring the following documents at the time of inspection Initial: Out of state registration (if the vehicle is not currently registered in Washington, DC) Bill of sale certificate of origin in payment of manufacture (accept all major CC, except American Express). The best time to visit the station is open Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoon 3-6. Do not bring your pets – they turn away. Take a book with you. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes, but sometimes can be more than an hour.
